If one member of a registered team will not be able to participate for exceptional reasons that are notified to the Organizer, that member can be replaced no later than 72 hours before the start, subject to payment of an additional fee of EUR 10 (payable in lei at the BNR exchange rate on payment day) for each person being replaced.
The Organizer can assess at its discretion, before or within 30 days from the end of the race, the reasons leading to the replacement of team members and reject them as not being exceptional. In this case, the results of that team will be considered outside of competition (hors concours). In this case, the results achieved by such teams will be posted and marked HC and will not be included in the official ranking of the competition. If a team wants to participate with members other than the previously announced ones, but cannot observe the 72-hour deadline and/or cannot invoke exceptional reasons, it can still participate in the race subject to payment of an additional fee of EUR 10 (payable in lei at the BNR exchange rate on payment day, the payment to be made before the race) for each person being replaced. In this case, the limit of 2 replaced team members does not apply, and the results of that team will be considered outside of competition (hors concours) and will be posted and marked HC, without being included in the official ranking of the competition.

No, registrations will close on Wednesday, 25 March , 2019 at 09:00 a.m. However, the organizer reserves the right to close registrations before the deadline or to accept entries after the deadline.
No, you have to pay in accordance with the payment procedures provided.
During the registration process you will be given the chance to purchase an insurance, at the cost of just 10 Euros, which will allow you to obtain the refund of the entry fee in case of cancellation of your participation for any reason.
If the cancellation is asked by February 7, 2019 the registration fee will be refunded 100%, otherwise 75%. The refund will be made within two months following the event.
Note: you don’t need to prove your impossibility to participate (eg by submitting a medical certificate), but the reimbursement must be requested through the appropriate form (available soon).
The following costs are not refundable:
the cost of the insurance itself (10 euros)
the cost of the online registration service (3 euros) and transaction costs (variable depending on the payment system chosen)
the cost of the Runcard
the cost of other paid options
The online registration website automatically sends an e-mail confirming the registration when the payment is validated. An online tool will soon be available to check the status of your registration.
AFTER THE RACE
Intermediate and final rankings will be available in real time on www.endu.net website. A direct link to the page rankings will be published on the homepage of www.bucharest10k.com.
From the rankings page you will be able to download the finisher’s certificate in PDF format.
A few meters after the finish line, you will be channeled into special lines along which these operations will take place.

Going on, you will find the medical area and then the refreshment point. Now, collect the bag with your personal belongings and, finally, reach the changing rooms, massage area and toilets.
BEFORE THE RACE
You can pick up the bib number (and the goody bag) from the Sport Expo.
A few days before the race, all athletes enrolled will receive an e-mail valid as official “letter of confirmation”.
This email will contain all the basic instructions for the bib number pick-up and race participation. You do not need to print a hard copy of the email itself; you can bring it on a device like a smartphone or tablet.
No, but you can request the shipment of the bib number. The service will cost only 10 Euros and can be requested from February 16 until March 17, during the finalization of your registration.
The shipment will be made exclusively in Italy. If you are not resident in Italy, you may want to request the delivery of the bib number at the hotel where you’ll be staying, warning them beforehand.
The shipment can be made exclusively for complete entries, containing all the required information and an approved medical certificate (for those runners who don’t have a license from an Athletics Federation).
In this case, the bag for your clothes will be sent you along with the bib number, while the goody bag can be collected in person after the marathon, at the exit of the technical area inside the Montanelli Gardens.
Timing Data Service (TDS) will time your race from the moment you will pass under the starting gate: in this way, even if you will start from one of the last sectors, you will have the information about your net time. Even if we will provide you the net time, please remember that according to the official rules, rankings will be based on the “gun time”, that is the time calculated from the starter’s gunshot.
The time limit to finish the 10k Individual Race is 1h30′. If, unfortunately, you will not be able to pass the gates in time, you may be invited to continue running on the sidewalk and not on the road.
We all know that it’s very unpleasant to be asked to quit the race, but please remember that our staff will do that, if necessary, to ensure your safety. The streets will gradually be re-opened to car traffic, according to the race authorisation issued by the Municipality.
Access to the start sectors will be possible from 8:00 a.m. until 8:55 a.m. Latecomers will have to start from the back of the group. The entrances in the sectors will be manned by volunteers who will check your race number to verify that you are entering the start sector that has been assigned to you.
every marathon runner will have to choose, when collecting their bib number, the gate through which to access the Montanelli Gardens, where the start/finish technical is located;
access to the Montanelli Gardens will have to take place through the gate selected from 7:00 am onwards;
marathon runners must show their bib number and the special card with the gate number to obtain access;
the organization does not guarantee access to the starting sectors in time for the athletes who will present themselves at the gate after 7:45 am;
it will not be allowed to bring inside the Montanelli Gardens any container (bag, backpack, etc.) other than the transparent bag provided by the organization (and marked with the appropriate label with your bib number), inside of which the single articles must be inserted in bulk, to allow an accurate and fast control by the security personnel.
Refreshment stations are located at 5 km along the route and at the finish line. In every refreshment you will find water, sport drink, fruit and biscuits.
You will also find sponge points with water tanks in which you can soak your personal sponges (you will find 2 sponges inside the goody bag and more sponges will be available in the pre-start area) to cool you off.
An adequate medical service will be guaranteed along the course, with fixed locations and emergency vehicles following the race.

Shopping Center; the parking fee is the equivalent of EUR 0.6 / hour. The nearest subway stations are
Izvor (0.5 km from the Start area) and Unirii (1 km from the Start area). The route will be closed for
traffic from 6:00 AM on race day.
SPECIAL RULES RELAY
No member of the relay team will be allowed to participate in any other EVENT race.
If the members of a team do not run in the order of registration or use in their team less than two members and/or one of its members runs more than one leg of the relay, the results of that team will be considered outside of competition (hors concours). In this case, the results achieved by such teams will be posted and marked HC and will not be included in the official ranking of the competition.
